It seems, some days, that passion reigns all around him. The children zip and zoom through the mansion with nary a care. Lovers, bodies entwined, whisk each other through the halls and beyond. He learned long ago, when thinking it was beginning to rain, to check the sky for a pair of flighted lovers, and it's nothing unusual for him to open his umbrella on a brilliant, sun-shining day, especially when Warren and Betsy are home. All these passionate displays, however, do make him long for the days of his own youth. "Ah, Erik," he sighs, longing for a visit.
